Ukraine favorite to win Euro opener, says coach
KIEV, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine is favorite to win its opening match against
Sweden at the Euro 2012 on June 11, Sweden coach Erik Hamren said here on
Thursday.
"I have to give the advantage to the Ukrainians, because they are playing in
front of their countrymen," Hamren said during a press-conference in Kiev's
suburb.
All the teams in Group D are very strong, Hamren said, adding that Sweden
will give all out to win the group.
But he admitted that France and England are the favorites in the group as
they have a lot of great players who can decide the fate of the match.
